Coastal ecosystems are environments where the land meets the sea, including mangrove forests, rocky shores, salt marshes, and coral reefs. These ecosystems are highly complex and dynamic, and we rely on these ecosystems for essential goods and services. Coastal ecology is the study of the relationship between organisms and their coastal environment. By studying and understanding the dynamics of these ecosystems, we can make well-informed decisions that benefit us while keeping the environment intact as well.
